Here is a complete tutorial to Install Samsung stock ROM using Odin which helps in recovering the Samsung mobile device when it got boot-loop, software error, up-date malfunction, standing together with a useless problem.
Requirements to install original stock ROM
➨ Before flashing the Samsung mobile/tablets, the battery must be charged more than 30%.
➨ Install Samsung USB drivers on Windows PC. (Skip this step if you already installed Samsung USB drivers.)
Now, to install Samsung stock ROM using Odin on Samsung device. Follow the easy steps.
Boot your Samsung device into “Download Mode“:
- Switch off your Samsung Device.
- Press ” Volume Down + Home + Power ” buttons together and hold for 5-8 seconds and a Warning message will appear on the screen.
- Press Volume-Up to accept the Warning Message and device will start in Download Mode.
Download the exact firmware file of the Samsung device model and extract it to get the flashable .tar.md5 file.(You need a software like WinRar, B1 Free Archiver, WinZip etc. to extract the .zip firmware file).
Next, download and Run the Odin.exe (Samsung Flashing Tool) on PC and Connect the Samsung device via USB cable to the PC. The Odin detects the Samsung device and shows an “Added!!” text in the message box.
Click on AP button it in the Odin window, then pick the .tar.md5 file from the extracted folder of Samsung firmware (stock ROM). Don’t change the other options on the Odin screen if that you don’t know it well.
Click on the “ Start button ” at the Odin window (it will start flashing the Samsung stock ROM ) and wait till it ends the process. Once it has completed successfully, you’ll view a “PASS!” text message in green Colour on the Odin (Samsung Flashing Tool) window.
Congratulations, you have successfully flashed your Samsung device.
Step:6 (All Successfully Done!)
Finally, the Samsung device will automatically reboot after full Odin process. Now disconnect it from PC and wait about 10 minutes to boot. (If it stuck on boot animation for more than 10 minutes then fix boot-loop as given below).
Fix Bootloop after installing Samsung Stock ROM
Occasionally, after flashing the Samsung firmware (stock ROM), it might do not boot. If the Samsung device stuck on boot animation for more than 10 minutes then follow these instructions:
- Goto Recovery Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Up+Home+Power buttons together.
- In Recovery Mode use the Volume keys to navigate between options and Power key to choose an option.
- Now, perform Wipe Data/Factory Reset and Wipe Cache Partition task then tap Reboot option.
